Burning feet
It is common for feet to ache or burn at the end of a long, tiring day spent on your feet. However, on an ongoing basis, burning feet can be a symptom of a severe health problem.
Burning feet refers to a foot sensation that is most often experienced by adults over age 50 and those who are diabetic (due to impaired neuropathy).
Dampness (poor evaporation), friction, can lead to the sensation of burning.
Allergic reactions - to shoe material or socks ect.
Thyroid dysfunction.
Gastric restriction in morbidly.
Obesity.
Heavy use of alcohol and smoking has been linked with burning feet.
Nerve problems, such as neuromas and tarsal tunnel syndrome, may be associated with the sensation of burning feet.
