Curly toe

Common flexion deformity where the proximal interphalangeal joints of the toe is flexed and medially deviated, associated with lateral rotation at the distal interphalangeal joint (i.e. the nail faces laterally).
The curly toe underlaps the adjacent toe. This often results in callus formation on points of pressure, with may be aggravated by footwear.
